Accelerations’ Google Consulting Practice provides Consulting Services to the world’s largest brands. Our aim is solving our client’s business challenges using the Google Cloud Platform. Our solutions provide organizations with leading infrastructure and platform capabilities by delivering enterprise-grade cloud solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology to help companies operate more efficiently and adapt to changing needs. These solutions are built in the context of the client’s wider technology stack to ensure seamless technology orchestration. We work with our clients to ensure that not only their technology and data is delivering on their challenges, but their organizational design is too.

The Google Partner Manager will take an active role in developing and packaging our solution. They will build solid relationships within Google, Wunderman Thompson and WPP, evangelizing our solution/services offering. You will drive best practices and methodologies, act as a thought leader within the organization and in the industry, and support business development efforts.

The role requires an advanced technical understanding of Google suites and the wider marketing technology landscape and a deep understanding of the technology sales business.

You will be responsible for identifying key stakeholders within Google, Wunderman Thompson and WPP and build and nurture multi-level relations and lead the definition of a join Go to market (GTM) that can positively impacted Accelerations revenue.

It will be important for you to provide leadership, direction, and guidance internally and within Google to maintain focus on scope and build momentum in the partnership. Define governance and ensure the relationship meets joint goals and drives Accelerations business growth.

What you’ll do: 

  • Responsible for Accelerations Go To Market strategy in relation to Google, NA.
  • Develop and maintain high level relationships within Google across NA.
  • Develop and maintain high level relationships within Wunderman Thompson and WPP across NA, supporting our positioning as Google Centre of Excellence.
  • Develop marketing and sales materials supporting our positioning.
  • Support new business development opportunities where required.
  • To define governance and ensure the relationship meets joint goals and drives Business growth.
  • Execute on our Google Business Plan for profitable revenue growth.
  • Expand and manage relationships within the Google cross functional teams.
  • Be a key point of contact for the overall partnership in NA.
  • Identify and progress new opportunities through the Google team.
  • Facilitate co-presented events / functions / workshops.
  • Leverage relationships within Acceleration, Wunderman Thompson, and WPP companies for additional direct client growth.
  • Be able to articulate the Acceleration Google Consulting value proposition and offering to Google and our WPP / WT partners.
  • Work closely with Google in NA to ensure the processing, assignment, delivery and in some instances, closure of engagements is optimised.
  • Monitor, report on internally and liaise with Google to optimize service delivery, quality and maximise customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Ensure you stay close to key projects in or to create case studies which evangelise our work.
  • Ensure that Acceleration is represented at events and partner portals.
  • Maintain and manage any Google partner portals. Proving key information, case studies as requested.
  • Facilitate and track Google skills development, monitor certifications and highlight to Google.
  • Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage the alliance business structured engagement cadences and business reviews. Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Manage partner KPIs and deliverables and track to it.
  • Accelerate pipeline deals opportunity engagement.
  • Build and articulate the Acceleration partner value propositions to become partner of choice.
  • Thought leadership and subject matter expertise on Google technologies to drive new offerings
  • Be a key point of contact for the overall partnership in North America. Thought leadership and subject matter expertise on Google technologies to drive new offerings.

  • Communicator | Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

What you’ll need: 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working in a Partner Sales Manager position, driving Partner sales and pipeline development
  • Experience in a direct selling or channel sales roles
  • Experience in working with cloud solutions across Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) markets

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA or Master’s degree (Advantageous).
  • Experience with partner ecosystems, agile partners, global system integrators (GSIs), system integrators (SIs), managed service providers (MSPs) or independent software vendors (ISVs).
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to multiple audiences including leadership and C-suite teams.
  • Excellent management skills with a comfort working in and through a cross-functional organization
  • Proven track record in the marketing, advertising and technology industry and the delivery of services and products to major clients and agencies.
  • Consulting at a senior / lead level for 5+ years, ability to scope, price, sell and deliver consulting projects across people, process, technology(Advantageous).
  • Knowledge in managing marketing related data processes and technologies such as ETL, CDP, CMP, DMP, data lakes and an agencies role in using them.
  • A track record of successful influence or delivery on enterprise client projects, including scoping, resource allocation, realisation, and risk management.
  • Ability to engage clients, Partner leads and internal stakeholders at a senior level, communicate clearly at differing levels of complexity and audience understanding
