Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson is seeking a collaborative and ambitious Social Strategist. Reporting into the VP Strategy & Experience, this role will collaborate with a cross-functional team and assist in the conception, creation and implementation of social and digital strategies for global and national clients. The successful candidate will focus 55% of their time on community management responsibilities with the balance of their time focused on content creation, research & strategy and measurement.

What you’ll do:
- Cultivate | Manage incoming requests & queries through social media. Craft messages; respond and manage social conversations. Proactively cultivate conversations within brand communities. Craft simple content and work with internal teams on content writing, proofreading, tagging, posting and boosting social networks.
- Research | Engage in social listening. Gather social & digital insights. Prepare competitor analysis. Measure social performance, craft reports and make recommendations.
- Engage | Identify and interact with influencers to establish a relationship for campaign opportunities. Proactively seek out opportunities to bring earned media to client brands. Attend online events; create content and live broadcast through social media.
- Collaborate | Work with strategists, data scientists, creative teams and client services to development themes, messages, topics and ideas.

What you’ll need:
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working on a beauty brand an asset.
- Understanding and familiarity with all mainstream social networks.
- Demonstrated community management experience – you know how to respond on behalf of a brand.
- Demonstrated experience with social listening, social content management and analytics.
- Understanding of social media measurement, metrics and KPIs.
- News and culture junkie.
- French fluency an asset.
