Senior Project Manager

Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson is seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Project Manager to join the team delivering impactful work for an automotive client. Working closely with a cross-functional team, this role will lead the development and translation of the client’s business requirements into formal agreements (SOW) establishing specific solutions, applications and processes culminating in customer acceptance of the results.
An advocate of process and methodology, you are comfortable and credible in front of clients, respected by project teams, able to stand your ground and defend your perspective all the while being fair and collaborative.
What you’ll do:
- Manage | Create and maintain project plans throughout the project lifecycle and ensure all project documentation is kept up to date within Confluence. Track and report on project budget and status. Manage workload through Jira for internal and delivery teams. Lead project team meetings and communicate progress to internal and client teams. Manage and enforce delivery milestones. Proactively identify project conflicts and resource gaps and escalate or resolve accordingly.
- People | Manage vendor, partner and third-party relationships on project level. Liaise with Resource Manager to secure internal resources.
- Work |Apply and maintain best practice methodologies. Establish project communication processes and tools. Employing change management procedures.
- Financials | Create estimations and scope of work. Perform project financials. Partner with finance team to manage WIP’s, freelancer budgets, and timesheets. Monitor actual vs estimated hours for each team member; proactively highlight when there is a discrepancy.

What you’ll need:
- 7 to 9 years of project management experience, ideally in a creative agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising industry trends and website practices.
- Experience managing all phases of digital campaigns and technical website builds.
- Experience with managing multiple work streams.
- Understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and CMS systems.
- Proficient knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project/Smartsheet.
- Previous automotive experience preferred.
- Demonstrated creative and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Proven ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid track record of successfully delivering complex projects from start to completion.
- Highly developed organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Calm and patient under pressure.
