HR Operations Analyst EMEA
We are looking for an HR Operations Analyst to work within our EMEA People team. Reporting to the EMEA Total Rewards Director, this is a wide ranging role which includes general HR operations work, data & reporting, working with the Talent Acquisition Director on the new hires process for the region, plus supporting the Reward team on a variety of tasks.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a strong People team with big ambitions, during a time of transformation. We have an exciting change agenda, aimed at creating a fabulous employee experience. This means we have lots of ongoing projects, including the future implementation of a global HRIS, Workday, which will require considerable advance work in terms of our general people data. Working as part of the EMEA regional team, the role gives the opportunity to work with people from across our region, which stretches from the Nordics to South Africa.
What you’ll be doing
In this truly varied role, no two days will be the same. The types of work you will be involved with includes:
- General HR Operations work for EMEA & Global HQ teams
- Owning the new starter process, including producing offer letters & contracts, reference & background checks, organising onboarding, ensuring IT accounts are set up etc.
- Preparation of other documentation such as probation letters, salary review & bonus letters and other correspondence
- Manage the leaver process
- Regular data & reporting activities, including
- General people data audits & maintenance
- Career Architecture data maintenance
- Inclusion, Equity & Diversity analytics
- Keeping WPP Executive-Comp system up to date
- Data requests from global team
- Pre-Workday data requests
- New hire approvals
- With TA Director, provide talent input into new hire approval process
- Point of contact for finance on hires
- Maintain Career Architecture integrity for new roles
- Greenhouse (our Talent Acquisition system) superuser
- Promote to vacancies
- Work with markets to prepare for approval
- Track implementation
Who we’re looking for:
You will have solid HR Operations experience with an interest in HR systems, People data and reward. You will be used to managing your own workload to enable you to meet deadlines. With an analytical mindset, you will also have advanced excel skills and great attention to detail, honed by working with large quantities of data. You may have some reward experience, but if you don’t, we can teach you everything you need to know. What you will have is a desire to learn and to improve how things are done, along with the initiative to help make changes happen. As we are still building and improving how we do things, you will be comfortable with ambiguity and change.
