Wunderman Thompson Budapest’s QA Analyst is responsible for testing various applications for example web portals, mobile applications. You will need to be up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and apply them in your everyday work. You will be responsible for verifying the quality of the software created at WT Budapest. You will collaborate with other testers, programmers and project managers.


As a QA Analyst

  • Analyze technical documentation for project scope
  • Create test cases / scenarios and test plans
  • Execute test runs for Web applications and Native Mobile apps
  • Provide supporting information for logged defects and identify unique scenario defects
  • Create and organize test reports using TestRail test management system
  • Clearly communicate errors and facilitate their corrections, retest after bug-fixes
  • Validate feature and defect tickets in JIRA.
  • Contribute to continued growth of QA team's skills & processes
  • Understand and apply quality standards, tests, and processes

As a team member

  • Follow Agile / Scrum principles
  • Attend on Scrum events like sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives
  • Be on time for the daily scrums and other meetings
  • Co-operate with the technology team, UX/UI team, project management team and client team members
  • Work transparently, report progress towards the project leads and team members
  • Use JIRA system for managing tasks, filling correct timesheet reports
  • Use Confluence for creating project documentations, sharing project related information
  • Proactively take part and clearly communicate through the full project development lifecycle
  • Create handover documentations in case of absences

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in testing web or mobile applications (preferably both)
  • Understanding of the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Understanding of the basics of the Web API’s
  • Understanding of the basics of the HTTP protocol
  • Understanding of the basics of the Web Browsers
  • Knowledge of tools of Defect Management (JIRA)
  • Experience using Test management systems (TestRail)
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum) Methodology
  • Knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android system)
  • Passion for discovering & learning new things and apply them to the project
  • Great attention to detail and a result driven approach
  • Great communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Capability to manage, follow-up own tasks
  • Up-to-date knowledge about the latest mobile devices, personal computers and its software environment
