Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson is seeking an Associate Creative Director (ACD) of copy for our thriving Microsoft B2B business. The ACD loves to geek out on solving B2B problems, with a proven track record of creating meaningful content and campaigns that help brands connect with other brands through engaging marketing across a broad spectrum of platforms—digital, social, video, audio, OOH, broadcast, and more. You’ll be responsible both for conceptual thinking and overseeing and creating a range of ideas for projects, delivering work for client presentations and for the end consumer.
You are also an expert collaborator and are able to develop strong working relationships with other discipline leads on the team as well as team members from nearshore offices and a bench of freelance writers. You lead and inspire team members to exceed expectations, and you yourself strive to continually evolve and grow the brand/product’s voice and effectiveness. You are constantly curious and seek innovative ways to apply your knowledge in the B2B space, pushing against the norms of traditional marketing.
You will report to the Creative Director and will help lead both large and small projects as needed.
What you’ll do:
- Big idea thinking | Divergent thinking that leads to the creation of unique B2B marketing content and experiences.
- Client facing | Regularly connect with clients to create a partnership that builds trust in our thought leadership and ideas.
- Analyze | Understand how data is used to develop multi-channel campaigns and experiences that successfully connect with the audience.
- Create | Generate highly effective creative concepts, and provide exceptional copy and copy direction to junior writers or freelance B2B writers.
- Collaborate | Closely partner with your Account and Strategy counterparts. Successfully integrate into the larger team and be a positive force in our work environment and agency culture.

What you’ll need:
- A portfolio that showcases excellent creative and conceptual capabilities in the B2B space.
- Minimum 5 years of agency (preferably digital agency) experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams and projects.
- Experience using data and technology to come up with innovative brand experiences.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
