The social media manager will be leading the media buying planning and execution. Required to develop media plans, implement media strategies and follow best practices, to ensure meeting all set objectives & KPIs. He/she will also be attending to the different clients’ briefs and requests including but not limited to content planning, channels’ and community management.

The position consists of two main layers: Media Buying, Community Management.

Technical skills:


- Strong knowledge of the social media business
- Strong media buying experience covering multiple platforms

- Strong written and verbal Arabic + English (French is a plus)
- Able to analyze insights while giving qualitative highlights and recommendations

- Digital marketing / Business / degree with experience in digital marketing


Responsibilities:


Overall:

- Own and manage the social media buying scope
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the different stakeholders
- Assist the lead analyst with qualitative reporting and analysis
- Work with the team strategist, content lead, community managers and analyst
- Achieve strong KPIs through the paid campaigns and explore new areas of improvement/development
- Generate POEs for paid promotions and collaborate with the finance team
- Oversee community managers’ reports and assist with the recommendations and highlights
- Channels’ management and community building
- Create monthly content calendars
- Operate as the focal point with the platforms’ POCs and attend to the latest trainings


Media Buying:


• Create cost estimates, media plans, content plan, and execute paid campaigns
• Monitor results, optimize performances and recommend best practices
• Work on POEs at the end of each campaign and ensure avoiding over/under spend of budgets
• Lead on both MEA & local campaigns along with the different community managers
• Onboard new team members and clients on paid processes and executions
• Explore new strategies and tactics for the ultimate paid executions along with making use of all new features offered by the different platforms
• Meet set KPIs and present monthly/quarterly reports to clients


Community Management:


• Provide technical assistance to other team members when/if needed
• Own social media presence for the brand and attend to users inquiries
• Develop monthly content calendars and suggest new tactics to develop current content and approaches
• Build monthly reports for organic activities and analyze the channels’ performance
• Be a subject matter expert when it comes to Arabic content creation and assist in content proofreading when needed
