What will you be doing?

At Wunderman Thompson we resource key departments across the business (not limited to creative/design), and also manage freelance requirements across the entire company. We are looking to recruit a Junior that will work alongside the Resource Managers in a supporting role to get a clear  understanding of the resource sign-off process, be responsible for timely management of freelance bookings/admin, gaining an understanding of the department structures to support during holiday periods. You will also be allocated your own department to manage.

Our resource team are the cogs that keep the wheels rolling, and liaise daily (hourly) with the project management team on project demands and unexpected changes to bookings. Providing exacting casting for every brief using our internal resource and network of freelancers.

Resource Management for one of our smaller teams at Wunderman Thompson, under the supervision of the dept lead and a Resource Director.

Freelance support tasks for the team:

  • Posting jobs on Yuno Juno
  • Associated Yuno Juno admin
  • IT setups
  • Freelance timesheets chasing and inputting
  • General housekeeping of Float (resourcing tool)
  • Researching freelancers on LinkedIn and via referrals
  • Black book management

Who are you? 

  • Ideally some experience in a similar role
  • Eye for detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Thrives under pressure, this team isn’t for the faint hearted
  • Team player, and able to use initiative to problem solve
  • Proven ability to work within a process driven team
  • Good at networking to help maximise our freelance database
  • Understanding of finance process and admin, raising PO’s etc
