Who we are looking for:  

Wunderman Thompson Health is seeking an IT Compliance Manager in our St. Louis, MO office. The IT Compliance Manager reports to the VP, Technology Infrastructure & Security Services and focuses on managing compliance matters across the organization as directed by IT security and compliance initiatives.

What you’ll do:  

  • Compliance |  Manage compliance tracking and reporting processes for our security governance frameworks, regulatory, and client compliance requirements.  Manage the applications and processes used to track various compliance initiatives. Track implementation of policies, standards, and procedures in line with our security governance frameworks, regulatory, and client compliance requirements.  Ensure Risk-based Compliance to governmental and industry standards such as SOX, HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST, and SSAE 18 SOC1 and SOC2 
  • Collaboration |   Assist with internal security reviews and client security questionnaires.  Provide input for corporate security projects with regards to identifying requirements for ongoing compliance 
  • Oversight |   Ownership of internal and external audit coordination with external auditors and internal stakeholders, performing initial reviews of evidence submissions and performing subsequent project management tasks

  • Agile | Creatively approach problems not covered by existing procedures. Work efficiently and follow processes and direction. Clearly communicate status of efforts to resolve problems and take ownership. Excel in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented office.
  • Team Player | Exhibit organization skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extensive project leadership experience.


What You’ll Need: 

  • Familiarity with GRC processes
  • Hands on experience managing Risk/Compliance projects based on NIST (or equivalent) framework
  • Knowledge of general security concepts and methods as they relate to IT audit controls such as vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures and governance.
  • Strong organizational skills.  Meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Should be comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented office. 
  • Nice to Have:  PMP, CISSP, CISSM, IT Security Audit
