What we are looking for: 

Wunderman Thompson Finland is looking for a UX / UI to join our Digital Competence Team. We are a multidisciplinary team driven by the singular goal of driving our customers growth via digital experience.  

As a digital designer you would be responsible for designing the experience of different digital touchpoints, starting from understanding customer needs with service designers, validating hypothesis via prototypes and finalizing production ready visual assets for our development team.  

To succeed in this role you need to be passionate about digital experience, have an eye for detail, and want to learn and work as part of a diverse team of digital experts.

What would be your primary responsibilities:

  • Work with our service designers to understand customer needs and gather inputs for your design approach. 
  • Validate your design via prototyping to gather initial impressions and feedback. 
  • Work hand in hand with our customers to understand their business needs and iterate the design to drive their goals and objectives.  
  • Develop digital guidelines to help organizations leverage your design system to all digital touchpoints.  
  • Create production ready responsive assets for our digital development team and iterate them based on developer feedback.  
  • Validate the quality of the development output from the design perspective.  
  • Iterate and improve the design based on performance data and customer feedback.  

What expertise you would need to succeed in the role: 

  • Extensive (several years) experience developing digital channels in collaboration with a development team.  
  • A willingness to advise and consult our customers around design approaches and choices.  
  • Expertise in working with modern digital design tools (Sketch, Figma, InVision, Miro, etc.) 
  • An eye for design and eagerness to build websites that solve customer needs. 
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
