Wunderman Thompson UK is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and creative L&D coordinator to support our Head of Learning and Development. Making the most of people’s talents and developing them to their full potential is the core focus. You will be passionate about helping people learn and better themselves, and tied to this will be a strong emphasis on wellbeing and DE&I.

To be successful, you will have a minimum of 2 year’s experience coordinating learning and development initiatives, and experience in DE&I will be an advantage. We need someone who has a warm, approachable, helpful manner, where nothing is too much trouble. It goes without saying that you’ll have strong communication and organisation skills. You’ll be solutions focused and have a real appetite to get involved, integrating yourself across all departments and helping build our culture of learning and belonging.

You’ll be a key member of our L&D Team, which is part of the wider People function, and will play a significant role in contributing to our agency culture.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the Head of Learning & Development
  • Coordinating the logistics of training & wellbeing events: including liaising with suppliers, scheduling, room bookings, invitations, staff communications, feedback forms
  • Managing the L&D and wellbeing calendar and taking ownership of all internal communications to drive awareness and engagement of activities, including the weekly “what’s on” email
  • Tracking & measuring training attendance and effectiveness, including coordination and data analysis of L&D surveys and feedback
  • Managing the twice yearly Thrive process, including managing all agency comms, coordinating training sessions and tracking engagement
  • Partnering with the EMEA L&D team to keep abreast of all EMEA and Global training opportunities
  • Coordinating our immersion sessions for new starters, and weekly learning labs program
  • Coordinating the logistics and launch of our new Capabilities Academy within iLearn (our LMS)
  • Keeping abreast of all training opportunities with our industry partners, such as IPA, NABs, GA, WACL
  • Advising on individual training requests and identifying external training partners
  • Managing our yearly IPA CPD submission
  • Working closely with marketing to support on agency submissions, outlining our extensive L&D, DE&I and wellbeing initiatives
  • Supporting our Employee Resources Groups and coordinating communications to drive engagement of their initiatives
  • Managing finance administration including raising purchase orders and setting up new vendors
  • Tracking and managing training and wellbeing budgets

Who we’re looking for

  • An interest & passion for Learning & Development!
  • 2 years’ experience of coordinating, tracking & measuring learning & development initiatives
  • Experience in DE&I will be an advantage
  • A warm, approachable, helpful manner, where nothing is too much trouble, is essential
  • Positive, resourceful, adept at problem solving and offering pragmatic solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organisation skills is crucial
  • Empathetic and great active listening skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Forms
  • Self-driven, productive and a real appetite to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
  • Keen ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks
  • Enjoys working as part of a team but happy to work alone and use initiative
  • Will happily integrate themselves across all departments, acting as an evangelist in building our culture of learning and belonging
  • Lives and breathes our agency behaviours of positivity, in it together, listening and creative bravery
