Who we are looking for: 

Wunderman Thompson is seeking a HRIS Analyst. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for data quality, reporting, analytics, system security as well as day-to-day support. The HRIS Analyst provides expert level knowledge of Workday and employee data management. Additionally this position works closely with the People Operations team to ensure data integrity for HRIS systems, including but not limited to Workday and ADP EV5.

What you’ll do: 

  • Workday/ADP Data Management
    • Manages projects to assist with the maintenance and accuracy of employee data.
    • Partners with HR, Finance and Payroll to ensure the HCM data foundation in Workday is documented with any business updates or process changes.
    • Support data integration across disparate data sets globally.
    • Provide operational rigor each payroll by generating and reviewing staff change reports such as new hires, terminations, transfers, and other reports as needed.
    • For large data changes, provide EIB files to WPP AMS for Workday or data upload file to ADP to process changes.
    • Conduct regular audits of our employee data in Workday and ADP, as required.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports to support ad hoc requests from the HR and Finance teams.
    • Creates and runs reports to support special data requests and projects, such as EEO, AAP and Veteran Reporting.  
    • Analyze large and diverse data sets and structure the data so that it’s meaningful to the HR community and informs business decisions.
    • Utilize data analysis tools to draw key insights that support solutions to business challenges.
    • Coordinate with the WPP data group to ensure data nuances for Wunderman Thompson are captured by providing further data field definitions.
    • Support the development of common business data language across the organization.
  • HCM/ADP Security
    • Manages the security requests for HCM access with the WPP AMS team. Ensures appropriate approvals are received prior to submitting the request.
    • Manages the security requests for administrative access to ADP EV5 for HR, Finance, and Payroll teams. Ensures appropriate approvals are received prior to submitting to grant access.    
    • Maps all administrative users based on appropriate job function and visibility requirements to employee data by department and reporting needs.  Accurately assigns security roles to reflect changes within the organization.
    • Makes recommendations to streamline security set up to facilitate a more accountable and efficient process. 
    • Provides guidance on department structures and assignments within ADP based on security access requests. 
    • Conducts quarterly review of all administrative users of ADP EV5 for compliance purposes. 
      • Supports the HR and Finance teams in accessing ADP EV5 and reports as needed. 
  • Additional HRIS Support
    • Assist Workday HCM and ADP end users with trouble shooting access issues as well as issues with reporting.
    • Supports the documentation of system processes and procedures, as needed.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in the HRIS field, Workday experience is a preferred. 
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices for security set up for HRIS systems.
  • Advanced analytical skills including working with large data sets and using pivot tables, v-lookups and advanced formulas in Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
