Wunderman Thompson (WT) is seeking an organized and detail oriented Global PMO Manager, Risk & Controls, with both project management and business controls or auditing experience. As the Global PMO Manager, you will support the culture of control compliance and ensure that our program aligns with our holding company’s requirements. Our ideal candidate has a solid foundation rooted in project management and compliance best practices. This role will report to the Global Director of Risk Assessment & Controls and will have a critical hand in reaching goals within the function.

What you’ll do:
Assist | Work closely with the Global Director of Risk Assessment & Controls in maintaining and monitoring annual Risk & Controls project plan, milestones, & deliverables.
Compliance Culture Driver | Foster a culture of compliance, ensuring program aligns with WPP’s requirements, considers the regions and operating unit deliverables and monitors proper reporting mechanisms for monthly meetings with WT Leadership.
Manage | Own the team’s planning file tracker, keeping it up to date with various piece of information across 150 operating companies. Ensure the team’s shared folder is updated in real time with documents and information. Gather and compile monthly GRC issues from Regional teams and submit for closure.
Report | Ensure information requested by WPP for upcoming audits is submitted via web portal. Perform quarterly mapping of unit ID to BFC (group reporting system) codes using changes provided by the business or our team.
Partner | Liaise and build relationships with peers across the Wunderman Thompson network and WPP Group, assisting with Global communication and ad hoc requests as needed. Assist with the annual certificate of compliance, online gift register and self-certification processes.
Increase Efficiencies | Identify digital compliance solutions to gain efficiencies, such as digital signatures and better utilization of document sharing tools.

Who you are:
• An Effective Communicator | Strong verbal and written skill are required, with the ability to speak with all levels of employees, across various disciplines. Understands downstream and upstream impact of communications and requirements.
• Detail Oriented | Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Collaborative | Smart and strategic, team first mindset. Volunteers to help team members as necessary
• Adaptable | Ability to work under pressure in an environment with constantly changing priorities. You work with a sense of urgency.

What you’ll need:
• 5-8 years of professional experience in a business controls or auditing function, Project Management experience is a plus .
• Public Accounting auditing or internal audit business process (SOX) experience required.
• Experience with GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, SEC, PCAOB requirements, etc.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting preferred.
• Remote working skills required.
