We are looking to hire a Tagging Analyst to join our client's Data team. You will take responsibility for managing their master data set, implementing GTM tags, triggers and variables in GTM and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role, you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a Tagging Analyst and a deep understanding of Google's data analysis tools.
What you’ll do:
- Consult with technical teams to implement tracking tags and code in site markup and within Google Tag Manager
- Receive assignments via Jira tickets to add / remove / update GTM tags on variety of websites
- Implement tags, triggers and variables in GTM to support analytics and media tagging
- Follow existing naming conventions and implementation standards
- Adhere to privacy requirements, including leveraging consent mode and other applicable technologies
- Troubleshoot existing tags and events, and propose and implement remediation
- Test, validate and deploy updated GTM containers
- Manage user access requests for GA360, GA4 and GTM
- Assist in setup of Google Search Console properties
What you'll need:
- Expert knowledge of Google Tag Manager, with experience implementing comprehensive tracking solutions
- Experience in develop and implementation of measure strategist in Google Tag Manager for websites.
- Knowledge in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Search Console, Campaign Manager and Google Data Studio.
- Fair understanding of digital marketing, concepts and strategies
- Experience working with global brands is a plus
- Experience with Content Management Systems, Jira and Confluence is a plus
- Intermediate - Advanced English level
