What you’ll be doing:

This is an exciting opportunity working on one of Wunderman Thompson’ newest account (one of the largest and most loved global brands), joining a new team of analysts we are setting fresh for this client. 

We are looking for an exceptional and talented person who will want to show how digital analytics can have a positive impact on understanding customer behaviour and developing the right marketing strategies.

The role will be hands on, conducting digital analysis on multiple sources of data (incl. client data), developing analytics solutions to deliver value through understanding performance of each marketing programme; actioning this insight by building recommendations and visualisations. He/she will work closely with other team members to ensure all output delivers impact and value.

The role will sit within the Digital Analytics team (part of our Wunderman Thompson Data Centre of Excellence for EMEA) which is focused on providing digital analytical solutions for clients including Microsoft, Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin and much more. This role is focused on one client.

  • Drive the digital analytics proposition, with the support of your manager
  • Manage and deliver client digital analytics projects in a hands-on fashion, including data visualisation and reporting
  • You will have ownership of all results, as well as spotting opportunities for improvement in methodologies used
  • Presenting to clients and attend client meetings
  • You will be working with wider Wunderman Thompson teams to ensure smooth delivery of digital analytical tasks
  • You will be able to take advantage of training opportunities that will develop your analytical skills

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in a data and digital analytics function
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics (or Adobe Analytics)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, website and campaign analysis
  • Good knowledge of Data Layer tagging requirements and debugging (GTM)
  • Experience of devising, implementing, and managing reporting and dashboard design, update, and automation (Power BI, or any equivalent tool)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; making the complex simple for internal and external stakeholders

    Nice to have:

    • Familiarity with UX best practises and tools for analysing user behaviour (SessionCam, Contentsquare, HubSpot)
    • Experience of Azure/Databricks and SQL
    • For Lead analyst level:
    • A/B testing experience of tools and best practises (Adobe Target, Optimisely, VWO)
    • Experience in managing a small team of one or two analysts.
    • Good storytelling via PPT
    • Good knowledge of SEO and associated tools (Screaming Frog, SemRush, SimilarWeb)
