Who we are looking for:

We're looking for a kick-ass CRM Strategist with a passion to work on Volkswagen, one of the world's most iconic brands. Reporting to the VP, Business Lead and working closely with a variety of other strategists, and data, technology and creative counterparts, your mission will be to create individualized brand experiences for Volkswagen owners and prospects that drive sales, retention, and loyalty.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Shape | Drive the creation of an over-arching 1:1 engagement strategy, touching prospects and owners across multiple channels over time. Against this, you'll own the creation of compelling creative briefs, fed by insights developed and past program successes. Through a customer journey lens, you'll contribute to identifying key opportunities for the brand against audience need states. You'll provide strategic support to a cross-discipline team and collaborate with them to create persuasive client decks.
  • Client | Provide sound strategic counsel and guide clients toward fresh strategic territories that are ownable for the brand.
  • Transform | Lead the evolution of CRM campaigns to be highly personalized, leveraging your knowledge of marketing automation. You will provide strategic recommendations against journey touch points and facilitate the development of business rules to drive program triggers.
  • Target and optimize | Identify and manage customer targeting and segmentation strategies. Collaborate with Analytics and Account Services teams to determine areas of optimization for continuous program growth and evolution.

What you'll need:

  • 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience; creative/digital agency experience is an asset.
  • Cross-channel experience with a focus on push and triggered email and personalized website experiences.
  • Skillful at crafting and presenting compelling points of view to support recommendations to clients and partners.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and hands-on experience with Journey Builder.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an asset.
  • Curiosity and passion for optimizing the customer experience.
