Who we are looking for
You are a Master student in the field social sciences, marketing, or (consumer) psychology. Apart from being able to think critically, you possess a wide range of interests and an analytical mindset. You pride yourself on delivering above and beyond expectations and you are eager to learn. In addition to exchanging ideas with others, you enjoy focusing on your own projects and working on them.
The student job period would be for at least 2 months starting in June or July.
What you’ll do at the strategy department
Strategic planners think of themselves as creative problem solvers. We try to find answers on the business- marketing questions of our clients, be it in the field of campaigning (tv, digital, radio, OOH), activations, point-of-sales, internal communication, touchpoint planning or content marketing.
But maybe more important than providing answers, is solving problems by helping our clients in formulating the right questions. Our role is to look at what the customer wants, which is not always the same as what the marketer plans to do.
Checklist of responsibilities you’ll get
- Customer-, Competitor and Industry Research (mainly desk research, but also qualitative research)
- Updating our industry knowledge platforms with the latest news on competitors & trends
- Help in setting-up and facilitating workshops
- Writing creative briefs for our clients’ campaigns & reviewing creative ideas
- Customer journey mapping
- Presenting your work to the strategy team during the weekly meetings
