What you’ll be doing:

Have you just finished your studies and/or are you looking for the next step in your career? At Wunderman Thompson, we’re looking for a Jr. IT Support Engineer to join our team! The number one goal in this position is to make sure our internal office automation and beyond run smoothly and also to support the organization. As part of the IT team as Jr. IT support engineer, you’ll ensure all devices are successfully set up for high stability and performance. You’ll be the first point of contact for our users for their IT issues, questions and requests.

  • Ensure new employees have a smooth onboarding experience by delivering their IT equipment and educating them on their tools.
  • Help the organization to solve IT related issues and errors while delivering the best-in-class customer service experience.
  • Partner up with the rest of the IT team to improve automation tools, processes and systems.
  • Juggling different balls at the same time is not a problem, you can remain focused working on projects, and also deliver on the day-to-day tasks. You like developing in a role where there is no typical day, and you love it this way.
  • You’re creative with your ideas, curious, honest and you dare to be bold even if it means that you make mistakes - you quickly learn from them, so they’re not repeated.
  • Handling both software and hardware queries with a customer oriented approach.

Who you are:

  • Communicator: You know how to gather the information needed from users, even when they may not have the right words to explain, by asking the right questions.
  • Client focused: You understand the importance of good set up and flawless operations, which is why you place a sense of urgency to your tasks and are always available for support. 
  • Problem solver: Missing the last piece of the puzzle doesn't frustrate you, it only makes it more fun! At the same time you also know when to ask for help to your team.
  • Proactive: You are able to think ahead and take action in advance, before problems arise.

What you'll need:

  • MBO-4 studies in a relevant field; e.g. IT
  • Full flexibility and willingness to attend our Amsterdam office in person on a weekly bases.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Knowledge of MacOS, Jira/Confluence and/or networking/architecture is a plus.
  • Would be great if you already have some knowledge of Windows Operating System and Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
