Background: 

  • Wunderman Thompson Commerce is creating a new service offer – now known as 'Everymile'
  • Everymile is a new business model, developed to help brands deliver world class ecommerce experiences without any of the challenges
  • We will build and run the entire end to end commerce capabilities – everything from generating online demand, website build and design, through to logistics, returns and customer care
  • Clients partner with us on a simple ‘share of success’ model – we take a % share of the revenue we successfully generate for clients
  • This is a fully managed service – we provide everything needed to deliver and provide a single point of ownership for clients
  • Unlike other services in the market, clients get to benefit from a truly collaborative partnership with ‘Commerce as a Service’, which delivers further value for their business
  • We believe this service will be particularly relevant for those clients that don’t have in-house commerce capabilities, or where commerce is not the core strength of the business

What we're looking for:

We are looking for an innovative, future-focused Content Manager to lead the continuous improvement and evolution for Everymile's current and prospective clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Digital content strategy and planning
  • Product set-up and enrichment through content
  • Website content and campaign management, delivering high quality content to support trading performance and ecommerce KPI’s
  • Working with third parties to brief, source and deliver high quality content – including UGC
  • Production of content and customer journeys to support acquisition and retention of customers
  • Keyword research/audit and on-site SEO management: titles, tags, descriptions, links, site maps and robots files, audits and analysis
  • Forward planning, resource management, workflow management
  • Defining success, setting content KPIs, analysing results and optimizing content performance
  • Team leadership, recruitment and management

  • Data driven, understands the interpretation of data to be able to drive decision making and prioritization
  • Excellent communicator, able to relate to clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Eye for detail, with a strong understanding of the role content plays in driving online sales
  • A multi-tasker and natural planner, able to work effectively across multiple websites
  • Problem solver and team player, willing to roll up sleeves and get stuck in to whatever is needed to drive results within a start-up environment
  • Excellent communicator, able to relate to clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Collaborative understands the value of stakeholder management and influence
  • Ambitious, self-starter
  • Multi-tasker, able to prioritize tasks across multiple sites
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can see opportunity in creating the road ahead themselves
  • Resilient and open to feedback, learning from mistakes and setbacks

What you'll need:

  • Ability to identify opportunities in customer journeys to improve site UX and Testing roadmap
  • Experience managing the delivery of high-quality website content within a fast-paced retail organization
  • Project management experience, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to deliver content and campaigns
  • Experience working with external digital content agencies
  • Workflow management and resource planning
  • Experience with AB Testing focused on customer journeys
  • Familiarity with ecommerce tooling: CMS, web analytics, search analytics
  • Understanding and application of SEO for digital content
  • Team leadership, recruitment and management
  • Experience in fashion, beauty, luxury sectors preferred. Experience of working on multiple brands concurrently would also be advantageous.
