Wunderman Thompson Technology Budapest is looking for a Business Analyst to join, who will be responsible for assessing, analyzing business requirements, doing stakeholder interviews, identifying opportunities and documenting the outputs in a structured and formatted way. Our Business Analyst is working closely with the Project Managers, Technology team, the UX/UI team and with client team members.
What you'll be doing:
- Assessing current state to identify the starting point for the change and determining ideal future state
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements
- Supporting project roadmap development
- Analyzing commercial data such as budgets, sales results and forecasts
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Identifying Stakeholders and conducting stakeholder analysis
- Working closely with clients, developers, and managerial staff
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team
- Establish a list of user stories that represent the overall scope of the project
- Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
- Change management - crosschecking and validating changes and change requests
What we will expect from you:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Experience in web/software development
- Understanding general development processes
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Industry-recognized Business Analysts certificate (or willingness to achieve the certificate as part of development plan)
- Expertise in conceptual modeling; ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions
- Ability to facilitate a team to consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions
- Ability to ask strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to problems
- Ability to document requirements formally or informally depending on the need of the project
- Understanding the agile development process
- Familiarity with requirements techniques such as user stories, use cases, and informal modeling
- Expertise in Atlassian stack (JiRA, Confluence)
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
