New Business Operations Associate
Department: Data & Analytics
Location: New York, NY, United States
Who we are:
At Wunderman Thompson we exist to inspire growth for ambitious brands. Part creative agency, part consultancy and part technology company, our experts provide end-to-end capabilities at a global scale to deliver inspiration across the entire brand and customer experience.
We are 20,000 strong in 90 markets around the world; our people bring together creative storytelling, diverse perspectives, inclusive thinking, and highly specialized vertical capabilities to drive growth for our clients. We offer deep expertise across the entire customer journey, including communications, commerce, consultancy, CRM, CX, data, production, and technology.
You will be an individual who loves sales, marketing and is passionate about understanding what drives behavior in people. You will have fundamental knowledge of marketing and the sales process. You are fastidious about detail – from getting data right to grammar and all the way through to on brand creative execution.
You are confident but are able to flex your communication style across different personality types and levels, taking the time to think about your audience in every interaction. You are not afraid of the word ‘no’ and have a can-do attitude. Yet you like to challenge thinking and constantly push boundaries.
As a self-starter you are happy working independently and autonomously yet in a collaborative fashion with people across different time zones. You enjoy the fast-paced ‘virtual’ environment.
At Gain Theory (a Wunderman Thompson company), we are seriously unique, and here’s why. Our mission is to inspire marketing excellence, building our client’s brands, and delivering robust and sustained business results. But we also have a different philosophy about how to get there—which is why we make for a radically different kind of partner. While priding ourselves on a proven track record of driving growth via best-in-class advanced analytics, technology and market expertise, we also boast a future-facing approach that is at the speed of business needs, scalable and highly effective compared to the other players in the space.
What's more, we are backed by the muscle of advertising powerhouse WPP, making us connected to some of the most famous brands such as Ogilvy, WundermanThompson and GroupM to name but a few. While we operate as a totally unbias and independent counsel directly on behalf of our clients, often working with clients who retain agencies outside of WPP, we are able to leverage marketing and media knowledge from WPP to enhance our client and people proposition.
When it comes to working at Gain Theory, our people are passionate about making a difference, both at work and in their lives. We are creating a culture that drives excellent delivery while giving our teams and individuals the space they need to enjoy their own passions. Pursuing these two objectives in tandem maximizes the quality of delivery for Gain Theory, but more importantly, the quality of life for the individual.
