ABOUT THE ROLE:  

We are seeking a meticulous and collaborative Staff Accountant. Reporting into the General Ledger Accounting Manager, this position manages financial reports and provides a high level of customer service to internal and external clients.

What you will do: 

  • Process | Prepare and enter journal entries, upload monthly reports, and prepare ad hoc reports as needed. Assist in month end closing process with associated areas: input numbers into our reporting tools.
  • People | Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, HR, etc. as needed to resolve accounting matters.
  • Reconcile and Audit | Analyze and explain general ledger account balances, intercompany transactions, and monthly financial statements for accuracy. Ensure the integrity and security of financial systems and business processes to maintain legal and regulatory compliance (full scope SOX compliance).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 3+ years of finance/accounting experience.
  • Must have solid understanding and working knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest mass amounts of data required.
  • Knowledgeable of financial and operational controls.
  • Previous experience with ERP software; Maconomy highly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to progress professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience processing a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment preferred.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
