Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson is seeking a Senior AdTech Developer to serve key contributor within the digital department reporting to the Dynamic Creative Optimization Director. This role will be at the forefront of digital display advertising technology for one of our top technology clients with high visibility across the global organization.  

What you’ll do

  • Build I Build and maintain digital creatives and manage complex data-driven creative strategies using industry-leading advertising platforms such as Flashtalking and DoubleClick by Google. Establish and support technical integration with file-sharing technologies such as Bitbucket, GitHub, SourceTree, and Git to instantly recover versions in case of problems. Advise on the selection of programming languages, libraries, and tools to build high-quality creatives by analyzing creative requirements and providing guidance for the overall technical approach to DCO projects. 

  • Test and analyze I Responsible to identify blind spots in testing, bug fixes, and reporting using Atlassian JIRA. Perform scheduled tests after creative revisions using Browserstack web application and provide input to improve overall implementation processes in place to drive support for global Dell DCO operations. Analyze HTTP requests and responses of data feed by writing simple jQuery/AJAX code or using tools such as Postman to ensure content availability in JSON/XML format. Support for technical integration with 3rd party tools and platforms. Creative testing deployment and management.

  • Find solutions I Provides input to improve overall implementation processes in place to drive support for global DCO operations. 

  • Innovate I Lead discovery of new DCO-related innovations, new dynamic media formats, and sophisticated data utilization opportunities.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of front-end development (HTML5/CSS/JS) experience. 

  • Experience with ad tech and developing dynamic templates or shells to accommodate several creative variants. 

  • Experience with ad serving technologies and dynamic messaging is a plus. 

  • Experience with Git and SourceTree. 

  • Strong technical learning ability. 

  • Experience working in an agency environment or technology company. 

  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong autonomous work ethic and comfortable working on fast-paced team.
