Are you passionate about marketing and communications? Do you have impeccable grammar and spelling skills in English? Would you like to help drive impactful marketing activities as part of Wunderman Thompson’s work for the leading technology company, Microsoft? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
What will your day look like?
In the role as our new Marketing Coordinator, you will plan, execute and manage campaigns for Microsoft. You will spend a lot of time reviewing and localizing content for the different markets. Acting as the point of contact, you will also coordinate with local agencies, social media/creative teams and Microsoft partners. More specifically, your tasks include:
- End-to-end planning, execution and analysis
- Reviewing the localization/translation of campaign content to ensure local relevance
- Ensuring that campaigns are running seamlessly
- Driving on-going optimization of campaign execution and tracking
- Producing local content from global assets (localization review, short form copy translation from English)
- Maintaining a strong client-agency relationship; ensuring satisfaction and growth of the client account. An understanding of the clients’ business and marketing objectives is crucial, specifically the programs you are working on.
- Acting as the subject matter expert on marketing automation platforms
- Educating local stakeholders on marketing services and tool capabilities
Who are you going to work with:
You will be employed by Wunderman Thompson to service Microsoft, a leading technology brand, and you will manage all aspects of the client relationship. You will be reporting into Wunderman Thompson’s Western Europe Team Lead and work closely with local Microsoft stakeholders on a daily basis.
Our Marketing Coordinators work in ‘blended’ teams and as such, you will be collaborating regularly with local team members, global peers and multinational executional teams across the globe within the Wunderman Thompson network as well as the local and global Microsoft environment.
What do you bring to the table?
As a person, you are a social self-starter with an outgoing and open-minded attitude. You act independently and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you are not always told what to do. With your proactive and flexible attitude, you can work effectively across different teams acting as the link between stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and persistent, and you know when to do research and when to make a quick decision. In addition, you have:
- A relevant degree combined with 1-2 years of marketing experience
- Perfect fluency in Portuguese and English, enabling you to produce content with flawless grammar and spelling
- A natural flair for project coordination and management
- A business understanding.
- Strong interest in Marketing, Retail, and the Technology sector
- Keen to learn about digital marketing and optimization tools
