Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson Atlanta is looking for an entry-level Experience Strategy Associate, Social, to work across our largest brand. You will be the liaison between our client and its target audiences. You will act as the voice, tone, and moderator of the brand through community support, content distribution, and digital engagement that builds brand presence and trust. 

**This is a remote flexible opportunity with option for hybrid in-office working capability. Our offices are currently open, though attendance is not mandated. This position will require occasional travel to client sites, particularly along the east coast.**

What you'll do:

Own | Act as the brand’s voice across a variety of social media platforms, organic and paid (Including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Snapchat, TikTok). Moderate and manage brand online communities, including opportunistic and partnered engagement.

Engage | Follow and iterate our Community Management guidance to eliminate templated responses, demonstrate an authentic social presence, and maintain productive relationships with audiences. Identify and develop clear hypotheses for testing new marketing and outreach opportunities to push brand image and products. Stay up-to-date with digital and social technology trends. Compile and report on relevant online research.

Collaborate | Coordinate with the account team/clients via Microsoft Teams and/or Email to share urgent messages, develop appropriate responses, and execute tactics. Assist with any New Business social media listening and research. Contribute to and support the development of client presentations.

Who you are:

Social Expert | You have a passion and enthusiasm for social and digital trends and innovation. You stay on top of social media trends and platform changes. You have hands-on experience with social media management, both personally and professionally.

Strategy Guru | You have an innate understanding and ability to describe the 5Ws of a strategy and how to bring it to life. You have proven hands-on work as a community manager or similar role. 

Diligent | Strong follow through in time management, attention to detail, and reliability. Strong writing and grammar skills. Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver.

What you'll need:

  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or PR role, including any relevant internships.
  • Social media experience working across multiple social channels (Including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Snapchat, TikTok)
  • Preferred: Knowledge and experience with social media tools, specifically Sprinklr
  • Preferred: Crisis management experience using social media channels to communicate brand messages
  • Ability to develop creative, engaging, and original content
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in word processing applications, spreadsheets, presentation software and social media management tools
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
