The Group Programme Director understands that the only thing constant is change. She/he plays a critical role in the success of projects, programmes, people, client portfolios and the overall organization. The Group Programme Director works at both the macro and micro-level defining the operational and delivery strategy aligned but not limited to process, resource management, revenue planning, client roadmaps and operational blueprints.

The Group Programme Director is the glue that holds together our multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams. Creating a collaborative atmosphere for our teams and clients alike this person solves complex management and staffing challenges, and ensures delivery of extraordinary customer and employee experiences. This person interfaces with senior-level clients, internal executives as well as drives the development of efficient and accountable operating models. She/he is interested, invested and passionate about both customer and experiences, the clients we service, and the work produced.

The Group Programme Director demonstrates flexibility, accountability, passion, empathy, confidence, leadership, understanding the audience, problem solving and is highly collaborative.

Ideally, this role is to be based in Singapore. However, we are open to other locations such as Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo or Australia. 

What you’ll do

Operations:

  • Applies expert knowledge of delivery best practices, revenue management, planning, forecasting and resourcing in order to manage teams and business issues.
  • Drives on-going process improvements both on an account, discipline and agency level.
  • Drives continual process and people management evolution in support of the effective delivery of solutions.
  • Contributes at a senior-level to the new business process by integrating strategy and business development skills with project management capabilities.

Delivery and client management:

  • Provides leadership to client and project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including coaching, and motivation.
  • Ability to inform both internal and client teams on how to work collaboratively while striving for project and programme success.
  • Drives negotiation and acceptance of changes within the programme portfolio and is able to effectively manage and support teams throughout change.
  • Lead the planning and management of project and associated delivery roadmaps following agile methodologies delivering working software to our clients, customers and employees.
  • Identifies, analyses, prioritises, mitigates and communicates portfolio risks while recommending actionable solutions.
  • Acts as a mentor and leader to the Project Delivery team, ensuring they have the coaching, mentoring, resources, and training needed to produce high quality results and further develop their skills.

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 15 years of delivery and programme management experience with a focus on both project and operational management principles, methods and techniques.
  • Broad technical skills with an advanced understanding of the software delivery process ensuring top-quality, measurable outputs.
  • Approaches each problem with a calm, rational and logical manner. This person knows how to get stuff done, is able to rely on their own experiences, tools and partners to find solutions to issues that arise.
  • Experience managing a variety of project types ranging from application, integration, infrastructure management to defining and documenting overall experience strategies and associated roadmaps and blueprints.
  • Mastery in managing and controlling project scope, schedule, budget and resource management / reporting and change management, project roadmap development and revenue forecasting.
  • Able to lead conversations with clients, around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, objectives, and strategies.
  • Ability to tactically organize and structure activities, paying particular attention to detail.
  • Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills to facilitate effective task and resource management.
  • Mastery of communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • A solutions oriented leader with refined decision-making skills and the ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to stay focused on programme goals while in high-pressure, high-visibility situations.
  • Ownership and accountability of clients’ business needs and ability to drive to solutions.
  • Mastery of office productivity tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Mastery of collaboration and delivery tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Miro, MS Teams, Slack, Box and is always staying on-top of new ones.
