What you will do:

The Communications Manager is responsible for defining and executing impactful and compelling strategies, plans and materials to deliver key messages and communication activities to internal and external audience. The Comms Manager is an experienced communications professional with significant marketing and engagement experience.


  • Support in creation and execution of Employee Comms campaigns across MEA to engage employees and make them feel proud to work with our client.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (incl. LT) to understand their requirements and ensure Comms is supporting their needs.
  • Drafting internal communications (email outlook templates, Teams posts etc), managing internal calendar/minimizing traffic to all-MEA email aliases.
  • Creating engaging copy & telling stories via a variety of internal channels (newsletters, internal campaigns, video scripts, Teams, website content etc.)
  • Coordination and creation of visual content – infographics/visuals, videos etc (incl. managing video shoots)
  • Drive internal comms tools adoption in partnership with Microsoft Digital, Business Groups and IT - e.g. Microsoft VIVA
  • Management of MEA Teams channels, creating campaigns to drive engagement
  • Creation/management of employee comms guidelines (incl. branding) to create consistent internal communications across MEA
  • Be the “go to” for Comms Leads in subsidiaries for support on employee comms requirements and campaigns

Operations – Support MEA Comms Lead as required, e.g.

  • MEA Comms operation, rhythm of business and planning – organizing community calls, updating MEA Comms Teams channels etc
  • Budget planning and spend management 
  • Agency management including briefing and reviewing/editing MEA content as relevant 
  • Ad hoc support for external comms – executive media/speaking opps, social posts etc

Key skills & behaviors

  • Excellent English copywriting for a variety of internal and external channels (if required)* Arabic/French a plus but not required
  • Proven track record in successfully managing internal stakeholder relationships (including leadership team) – excellent “client servicing”
  • Passion for Comms – internal and external – and ideally a passion/knowledge for the technology sector or willingness to learn
  • Proven ability to channel a growth mindset, give and receive feedback in a constructive way and commitment to continuous growth
  • Creative storyteller – experienced in telling stories via a range of mediums - good knowledge of graphic design, video editing and animation
  • Strong grasp of social media trends and tactics – skilled at drafting posts (written/visual) and creating engaging content
  • Very organized, familiarity with a variety of Microsoft (and other tools) to maximize efficiencies
  • Self-starter, uses initiative – demonstrates curiosity with the ability to ask the right questions
  • Some experience in employee comms preferable but not required

Who you are:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a well-known PR agency in the Egypt (AE/AM), or internationally known brand (Comms Exec/Manager)
  • Must have strong references (LinkedIn & written from previous employers)
