Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson Health is seeking a Desktop Administrator to join the team in our St. Louis, MO office. This is a temp-to-perm role. The Desktop Administrator supports the Technology Infrastructure team in providing desktop support for a variety of locations, departments, and operating systems. They are ultimately responsible for ensuring that support needs are resolved in a timely manner. They focus on equipping our employees with the tools to be successful and providing outstanding service to our customers, both internal and external.

What you'll do:

  • Support | Provide primary support for end-users with good customer service skills. Support the rollout of Windows physical and virtual workstations. Support Office 365/Teams. Support Apple and Mac Products. Maintain appropriate levels of security.
  • Setup | Conduct initial intake of end-user issues and document in the ticketing system. Build laptops. Reset passwords. Unlock AD accounts. Disable and create AD accounts. Configure and setup Cisco phones Configure and troubleshoot cell phones. Configure email accounts for new users. Setup, add, and troubleshoot printers. Install miscellaneous software.
  • Troubleshoot | Support troubleshooting of end-user issues through team mentoring and self-education. Troubleshoot IP phones. Troubleshoot PC/software/re-installs. Available to work some weekends, nights, and holidays.

What you'll need:

  • Ability to learn on the fly.
  • Strong organizational skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented office.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proven success working with various team interactions and stepping in as needed to cover peak workloads.
  • Efficiency and the ability to follow processes and direction.
  • Expertise with both Windows OS and Mac OS.
  • Understand MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively take direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to accept constructive internal comments.
  • The capability to creatively approach problems not covered by existing procedures.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of network and server/desktop administration, installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
