Role

As a DevOps Engineer you will contribute to the DevOps team by deploying, maintaining, and expanding infrastructure to service the requirements of the development teams and the business. You will be working with engineers in development teams to develop solutions to infrastructure and operational problems and then executing those solutions using infrastructure as code, both in the cloud and on premise. You will be using telemetry and logging platforms to triage, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.

Required skills

Proven skills in at least one scripting language (Bash/Python)
Proven skills with at least one cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience within Infrastructure/DevOps/SRE or Software Engineering
Significant experience with Docker/containerisation
Experience with Container Orchestration (K8s/Docker Swarm)
Experience with Git version control system
Experience with Terraform IaC
Experience with an infrastructure provisioning tool (Ansible preferred)
Ability to triage and resolve complex issues including production incidents
Experience working closely in cross functional teams
Good documentation skills
Proven self-starter

Desirable skills

Experience within an Ecommerce environment
Experience with Consul
Experience with Time Series Database solutions (Prometheus/Graphite)
