Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson is looking for a collaborative CMS Author to update, modify and maintain content within a Content Management System for one of our largest clients. Working closely with a cross-discipline team, you will understand the business requirements and ensure content is updated in a timely manner and with the highest quality.

This position has the flexibility to be based in Toronto or Montreal.

What you’ll do: 

  • Organize | Participate in briefing meetings to gather and understand project requirements. Maintain status and communicate updates regarding completed and outstanding web content. Maintain and update internal wiki with project and content-related documentation.
  • Collaborate | Support web content delivery planning with the Project Management team. Partner with project resources across departments to ensure images, text and layouts are aligned with client expectations.
  • Integrate | Upload images to digital asset manager. Verify web content in pre-production and post-production environments. Troubleshoot and problem solve within the CMS. Adhere to technical best practices and guidelines for content authoring.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 year of professional work experience required; creative agency experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level CMS (i.e. EpiServer, Sitefinity, Sitecore, Adobe CQ) required.
  • General understanding of how content management systems work.
  • Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  • Experience with Image Optimizations either through Photoshop or ImageOptim.
  • Experience with JIRA an asset.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to focus.
  • Affinity for continuous learning.
