Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a talented Senior Copywriter (SC) to work for one of our biggest client. They’ll be expected to produce consistent, high quality, original work to (at times) demanding timescales. As Senior Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for the development and expression of the idea, as well as producing the language and tone of voice a brand utilizes to develop a campaign. You will be expected to contribute to the conceptual process, work closely with the Creative Director and other team members, communicating regularly and voluntarily about technology and innovation and its impact upon the creative product. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile SC to get involved in the development of an iconic global brand.

What you’ll do:

  • Process | Proficiently write in diverse copy styles across a range of assignments. You’ll analyze problems, anticipate consequences, and eliminate obstacles to successfully complete projects. Concept and collaborate on campaign ideas and social tactics with a creative team while working on multiple projects. Mange and prioritize projects within timelines for project milestones.
  • Work | Craft concepts and execute copy based on established voice and tone for myriad digital platforms.
  • People | Partner with the creative leads to concept, write, present, and defend work while addressing client needs. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the agency to ensure timely deliverables.

What you’ll need: 

  • Minimum 5 years of copywriting and conceptual experience at a creative or social agency, or equivalent.
  • Advance English level skills required.
  • To consistently produce a range of fresh and effective concepts in response to the creative briefs.
  • To be able to present creative concepts to the client and become actively involved in evolving the concept with the client and internally within the agency.
  • To manage the quality of output of all elements in relation to copy such as research, fact-checking, editing, proof-reading, ensuring client copy amendments do not disrupt copy-flow and the conceptual integrity of the communication.
  • To support the Art Directors and Designers i.e., in preparation for presentations, including creation of visuals and preparation of a creative rationale as required.
  • To proofread and correct final artwork as required.
  • To participate in all stages of the creative process under the direction of the Creative Director.
  • To work in conjunction with planners, account handlers or through formal brainstorming sessions to assist in the generation of agency creative briefs.
  • To become involved in resolving creative and strategic issues with account handling & clients.
  • To deliver high quality work, in compliance with established procedures and / or protocols, within tight deadlines, yet is aware of needs of co-workers.
  • To produce effective and well thought through copy.
  • Learn about other disciplines and work collaboratively on projects and internal initiatives.
  • Makes use of appropriate research materials (Internet, publications etc.) to ensure skills and knowledge remain current.
  • To understand client’s business, brands and marketing objectives.
  • To be able to manage productive working relationships with clients, internal departments and third party suppliers.
  • To keep up-to-date with developments and opportunities across all communications platforms.
  • To keep abreast of contemporary culture.
