Our UX team is growing and we are looking for an awesome Senior UX/UI Designer to be part of our mission of designing world-class experiences across the APAC region! We believe there is no b-team, collaboration is key and that to design great experiences is basically the best thing ever. We are passionate, smart, and care deeply about what we do all within a flat team structure – we all love getting our hands dirty, understand how/when to defend design choices and have zero ego.

You will be fearless in pushing your design, advocating the user, spreading enthusiasm and a huge fan of sketching for communicating concepts and quick iterations. You’ll be working on projects and pitches for new business as well as existing clients within the APAC region. You should be comfortable with UCD, participatory design and design thinking methodologies and will be able to conduct user research, synthesise insights, help run workshops and design experiences for many different audiences and channels – e–commerce, mobile, banking, hospitality, luxury brands etc. 

 

What you’ll do

USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN (UX)

  • Provide hands-on expertise and leadership in the development of user experience deliverables including site maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and features and functions specifications
  • Perfom heuristic evaluations and competitive audits on existing sites/ properties for usefulness, usability, visual design, content, and branding
  • Partner with Consumer Research to prepare and conduct usability testing sessions as well as in-context behavioral research; Analyze, synthesize and organize research data into meaningful themes, categories, and visually compelling user models and recommendations including personas, scenarios, and storyboards
  • Facilitate and drive consensus in participatory requirements generation sessions such as features and functions brainstorms, rapid prototyping, and emotion brainstorms
  • Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables and user experience strategy
  • Ability to use and gather insights from website data analytics tools such as Google Analytics and other data gathering tools

USER INTERFACE DESIGN (UI)

  • Provide hands-on expertise in designing user interface (UI) that delights the users, constantly pushing the boundaries of design to deliver best-in-class experience.
  • Ability to translate user goals into elegant, memorable design solutions
  • Create high-fidelity screen mock-ups for different type of projects, such as responsive web design, mobile applications, intranet design, interactive kiosks and other experiential design.
  • Collaborate with art directors and creative directors
  • Excellent skills in visual design hierarchy, knowledge on current visual trends and passion for design system

 

What you’ll need

  • Ten or more years of UX design experience for software, web applications, brand sites, mobile devices, and/or experiential design.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables
  • Familiarity with and/or ability to conduct user research and provide top-level findings 
  • Experience with UX planning and development
  • Experience with defining business and user requirements 
  • Strong conceptual thinking as well as obsession to detail
  • Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills
  • A self-starter who can self-manage as well as be a contributing member of a multi-discipline team
  • Demonstrated experience using research and web analytics to inform design decisions
  • Proficiency with low and high-fidelity prototyping tools
  • Proficiency with wireframe and annotation softwares such as Sketch, Adobe XD and Invision
  • An expert sketcher
  • BS/BA in Design, HCI or equivalent experience
  • Digital Agency experience a plus
  • A portfolio that showcases your contribution to digital projects and products that demonstrates originality, innovation, and strong problem solving skills
