Who we're looking for:

Senior Reasearch Analyst to work on a Fixed Term Contract, employed by Wunderman Thompson and seconded to one of our Global Clients.   One day a week at the clients' office and the rest of the week you can either work remotely or be based at WT UK offices at Greater London House.

What you'll be doing:

  • Translate business needs into research hypothesis to best inform campaign strategy and planning, construct simple to complex research plans to achieve research objectives, identify which partner is best placed to run the research project (in-house or in-agency), write the research briefs, collect the data and inputs required to kick off the project.

  • Own and manage in-house and in-agency research projects (can take the shape of qualitative panels, quantitative surveys, conjoint analysis, market and competitor desk research, social listening, etc.) from briefing to data and input gathering, research framework development, activation, results, analysis and interpretation alongside socialization process.

  • Ensure the research developed is on-time and meeting the brief and pre-agreed budget.

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail, run data checks such as QC of research programs/questionnaire for logic, accuracy and completeness to ensure best results that ultimately respond to research hypothesis and provide insights to inform strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for in-house research as a way to dive deeper into in-agency research points and/or dive deeper into our internal audiences.

  • Contribute to delivering insightful research and data to inform campaign and content strategies alongside creative conceptualization and channel planning.

  • Develop target audience profiles using mix of syndicated and first-party data and buildalignment of target audiences between client segmentation work, strategic media targets and addressable targeting.

    • Inform creative development and optimization: consumer testing and validation of advertising campaigns, providing consultative support to in-house and in-agency teams to ensure objectives are met for each campaign. Generate best practices and own the learning agenda to feed future work based on past learnings.

    • Co-own and co-develop measurement frameworks and learning agendas, to report on performance of key marketing & communications initiatives holistically: brand and business impact, understanding drivers behind results and connecting the dots to uncover insights and create a complete story. Ensure alignment with number of internal teams.

    • Support measurement execution focused on ad/media effectiveness and brand health

    • Monitor brand KPIs quarter over quarter and deliver brand narrative in connection with brand,market, competitors’ activity.

    • Storytelling: use visualization and storytelling techniques to socialize success, key learnings,

      conclusions, and implications if any to the brand and business strategy.

      Provide always-on competitive analysis including recurring reports as well as ad hoc analysis using a range of competitive monitoring approaches covering content and creative launches, social activities, industry and business news.
