The role
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our dynamic Digital Experience team to produce content for various types of assets such as but not limited to direct mailers, CRM mailers, newsletters, website, blogs, playbooks, case studies etc.
This role is ideal for a passionate content pro, and superb with words, who wants to make a big impact in consumer centric digital communications. You will work alongside then CRM Director and the rest of the Digital Experience team to create clear and compelling messaging across all channels.
Our ideal candidate is an independent thinker, both creative yet analytical, with the ability to use data and insights to continually improve our content. Plan to spend about 3/4 of your time writing, with the rest of your day and week spent talking to subject matter experts, diving into industry research and ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our client’s audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
How you’ll be spending your time
- Write, write, write. Your keyboard will not collect dust
- Create copy for: email campaigns, website, blogs, product assets, video scripts, case studies, and more.
- Think like a journalist to uncover great stories and work across agency and client, across business lines, including product marketing and customer success, use market research and data to gather the information you need.
- Help to create content templates, and other assets that can be used across the company to ensure on-brand content regardless of who creates it.
- Research industry-related topics
- Write clear marketing copy
- Proofread and edit content before submitting
- Submit work to our various Marketing Managers for input and approval
- Work within a hard-working and professional team of UX, designers, strategists, SEO and other writers.
- Use SEO guidelines in all work
- Identify needs and gaps in our clients’ content and recommend new topic
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant copywriting, journalism, or content marketing experience within B2B
- Financial sector knowledge and experience is a real PLUS
- Continuously curious and capable of understanding and researching evolving market trends that resonate with our audience
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Self-Motivated and Collaborative
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
