Who we are looking for: 

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for co-leading the product vision along with discipline leads at the Program level (e.g., technology, strategy, user experience). This person will be responsible for aligning business strategy with product development and coordinate cross-functional Agile Release Trains to deliver on the work. The Product Manager will need to deliver value in program increments (PI) and share and communicate a common product vision, roadmap, features backlog, and milestones.  

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for owning and leading Program Increment planning sessions (i.e., quarterly planning) with the client and owning all related artifacts (e.g., features and program backlog, feature value matrix, etc.). At the team level, the Product Manager collaborates closely with Product Owners to ensure each team has clear goals, milestones and align to the overall program objectives.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Client | Understand customer and business needs, advocating for the customer and focusing on delivering value to the user. Perform continuous user research to understand what customers need and want and use those insights to inform the vision and roadmap. Lead program increment (PI) planning - present the vision, roadmap and highest priority features of the program backlog. 

  • Team | Work with business and technical stakeholders to maintain alignment as priorities and scope change. Build and maintain product roadmaps based on delivery milestones. Continuous cross-functional collaboration with business owners, product owners, strategy leads, customer experience leads, technical architects, developers, and engineers. 

  • Process | Clearly define a vision that will be the team's north star, reflecting business needs and aligning with strategic themes of the organization. Develop solution hypotheses iteratively, based on user research, and industry and market trend analysis. Provide the framework and lead the execution of a Design Thinking and Lean Startup process to find the right problems to solve and the right solutions for those problems in a quick, MVP, and iterative approach. Maintain workflow board and program backlog. Analyze economic and value impact of features using "Weighted Shortest Job First" approach. Validate features during system demo on every iteration within the PI.

What you’ll need: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role  

  • Deeply rooted in Agile, Lean, and continuous delivery principles that maximize flow of value with a passion to extend this understanding throughout the organization. 

  • Ability to be “hands on” when needed especially as it relates to problem solving and generation of business solution options. 

  • Ability to work closely with the team, including modeling and rapid prototyping in instances where required for complex business features.  

  • Demonstrated success creating digital products vision, strategy, experience, and enterprise solutions and services - from ideation to launch, including engineering and operational quality. 

  • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team on customer-focused products and services. 

  • Proven ability in collaborating and leading Program Increment (PI) cycles. 

  • Significant industry knowledge and expertise within industry. 

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders. 

  • Ability to define financials, ROI, KPIs, and forecasts, with success leveraging data to make decisions about product feature increments. 

  • Proven track record of working with senior client stakeholder and diverse teams as a servant leader and steward of economic and customer value. 

  • Mastery in leading change and inspire others to change behaviors. 

  • Influencer in continuous learning and innovation. 

Desired:  

  • Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager designation. 

  • Certified Agile Product Manager designation. 

 

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
