Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a UI Designer to work locally and globally for some of the world’s biggest and well-known brands across creative, data and technology.

You will spend most of your energy as an UI Designer attempting to create digital experiences in low and high fidelity for web responsive and native mobile apps, articulating design decisions, communicating them to product, business, and technology leaders, as well as operating with cross-functional teams all through the design processes.

What you will be doing:

• Find creative ways to find a solution to usability problems on the projects you integrate
• Create wireframes, low-, mid- and high-fidelity prototypes, validate and identify issues with the UI, and work towards solutions.
• Follow implementation of UI's according to design and Brand guidelines
• Prepare user journeys, wireframes and task flows and prototypes to communicate design ideas and the interaction concept according to our client needs
• Working closely with the design system team
• Developing overarching Design Principles as a visual framework which can be transferred to UI, Interaction, Content and Frontend Developers
• Methodical validation of deliverables

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience focused on UI design
• Degree in Design (Interface Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design) or a comparable degree
• Proven experience with a strong portfolio
• A detail and quality oriented mind
• Strong understanding and experience with design systems and modular design approaches
• Deep understanding and passion for human-machine interfaces, including a deep understanding of UI principles
• Good self-assessment and experience in estimating own tasks in an agile work environment.
• Ability to identify and address necessary tasks.
• Great communication skills to be able to articulate your design decisions to the design team
• Fluent in English both verbally and written

Bonus points if you have:

• An agency background is always a plus
• Experience with Agile software development processes and methodologies
• Experience in product design software (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Invision, Balsamiq)
• Knowledge with Java-Script / CSS / HTML / Markdown and Git to work in close collaboration with Frontend-Developers
• Experience in Motion Graphics
• You are experienced with multi brand user interfaces
