The UX Person who will have the opportunity to develop and mentor the UX/UI Design team into the creation and delivery of a unified UX/UI Design vision within the organization, whilst being the ultimate champion of the user throughout the creative process.

What You’ll Do as a Senior UX Designer/Lead

• Provides overall direction for User Experience by analyzing business objectives and customer needs as well as developing, communicating and implementing business strategies and practices whilst driving continuous improvement of user experience tools, documentation and process;
• Inspires, guides and directs the overall user experience and visual design;
• Creatively supports the effective use of technology and digital solutions to solve business problems in both online and offline space;
• Works closely with Creative and Technologist to brainstorm, ideate and execute for project needs; Maintains effective communication with clients, internal team, consultants, and others;
• Mentors subordinate and encourages people to consistently excel, goals setting, planning and regular reviews with UXUI team members.

Who You Are

• 5-7 years’ related experience in advertising, interactive or design agency;
• With bachelor’s degree or above, major in art / advertising / science or technology related;
• Hands-on experience with project deliverables and lead projects from concept to completion;
• Fluent knowledge of wireframes tools eg. Figma, sketch, adobe XD and Photoshop, Illustrator;
• Interested in Chinese culture;
• Experience in beauty, luxury or fashion categories;
• Decent understanding of China digital ecosystem;
• Possess a “start-up” mindset, ready to explore new innovations;
• Be willing to develop career in China and relocate to Shanghai;
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
