Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson is seeking a Product Manager for one of the Atlanta office’s largest clients to define persona-driven requirements enabling the evolution of enterprise data infrastructure with a strong focus on how all our systems work together throughout the customer journey. This role will work closely with the stakeholders, architects, and the agile development team to drive projects end-to-end from ideation, design, development, launch, monitoring, and continuous improvements.
To succeed in this role, you must be an expert at translating data into insights and recommendations and be proactive in managing projects and cross-functional partnerships. You must be an advocate for the user and have a passion for experiences that connect physical and digital worlds, to continually push, disrupt, challenge, and innovate ensuring that we’re doing the best work to drive the best results for our clients.
This position is hybrid-flexible, with candidates ideally located in Atlanta, GA or surrounding areas. Candidates may work remotely as needed, with our spectacular new office near Ponce City Market opening in June 2023 and available for use!
What you’ll do:
- Strategy & Research| You will: Monitor and leverage data to recommend and validate opportunities to enhance product functionality. Conduct detailed research and discovery to understand user needs and pain points, existing processes and systems, and areas for improvement.
- Delivery & Execution | You will: Lead tactical work from facilitating workshops, documenting requirements and specifications, defining acceptance criteria, prioritizing the delivery backlog, usability testing, attending scrum meetings including daily stand ups, functional and technical review, and sprint planning. Oversee milestones and communicate project status, scope changes, and critical metrics. Coordinate release activities and the creation of release documentation including internal and external release notes and training/support materials as well as leading product reviews and demos to key stakeholders.
- People | You will: Collaborate closely and iteratively with clients and internal cross-functional disciplines including experience design, architecture, engineering, analytics, and operations and guide them through the product development process to deliver new and enhanced experiences. Bring the needed disciplines together to align on business and product goals, solution concepts, and requirements. Partner with fellow Product Managers and CX/UX experts to share learnings and insights across the portfolio.

What you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Associate Product Manager guiding product development on an agile team in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of tools, activities, and techniques for discovery and definition; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
- Understanding of complex infrastructure and experience partnering with architects to develop robust solution requirements.
- Experience working with projects involving web technology, back-end, application and hosting-related platforms with a keen understanding of data infrastructure and APIs.
- Knowledge of the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.

- Experience defining and measuring success and using analytics tools and data to understand user behaviors and opportunities for improvements.
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Previous experience with common product planning and delivery tools such as Productboard, JIRA, or similar.
- Experience working on government projects, data compliance, and identity management is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies-experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
