Who we're looking for:

This is an exciting opportunity working in the Wunderman Thompson Digital Analytics team, part of our wider Data department, this is a 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract role.  We are looking for a talented person who will want to partner with one of our major clients to shape how reporting and digital analytics can have a direct impact on understanding customer behaviour across the client organisation and developing the right marketing strategies.

The role will be hands on, working with stakeholders to understand their requirements, conducting digital analysis on multiple sources of data, developing analytics solutions to deliver value through understanding performance of each marketing programme, actioning this insight by building recommendations. 

The role sits within the Wunderman Thompson Digital Analytics team which is focused on providing digital analytical solutions for clients including Microsoft, Purina, Mercedes Benz and much more.

The team have previously won the Best Data and Analytics Team at the Data IQ awards for their client work.

What you'll be doing:

  • Seen as the digital analytics expert by both the client and the WT team through whom all digital analytics requirements and strategies will be routed
  • Manage and deliver client digital analytics projects in a hands-on fashion
  • Identify where existing digital tools can be better utilised to maximise value and make recommendations on what other tools/approaches could support them
  • Be the client’s trusted advisor on all things digital analytics by making it easy for them to make business decisions by putting the customer at the centre of everything they do
  • Working day in, day out with stakeholders across the organisation to understanding their needs, objectives and pain points, fully understanding their business and the role of digital analytics within that
  • Proactively identifying and delivering reporting and insights that address those stakeholder requirements
  • Presenting frequently to clients, tailoring delivery for a mx of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working with wider Wunderman Thompson team to ensure smooth delivery of analytical tasks

What you'll need:

Experience in a data and digital analytics function

  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing
  • Excellent data visualisations skills and knowledge of data vis tools (Google Data Studio, PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; making the complex simple for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent storytelling via PPT Data, and Insights building.
  • Good knowledge of Data Layer tagging requirements and debugging (GTM)
  • Familiarity with UX best practises and tools for analysing user behaviour (some knowledge or willingness to learn SessionCam, Contentsquare, User Testing, Usabilla, SimilarWeb)
  • A/B testing experience of tools and best practises (Adobe Target, Optimisely, VWO)
  • Good to have - some knowledge of SEO and associated tools (Screaming Frog, SemRush)
