Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson Intelligence is seeking a Senior Manager, Intelligence - APAC, who will be reporting to the Global Intelligence Director based in New York.
What you’ll do:
- Research | conduct thought provoking consumer research and spot trends in APAC. Provide research and intelligence strategy inputs about the region. Stay current on industry trends and developments and be the APAC voice for global research.
- Analyse | analyse and interpret consumer data, short-term and long-term trends and provide valuable data insights. Ensure that insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Write | write and actively contribute to the output of the Wunderman Thompson Intelligence team. Develop APAC intelligence and trends reports i.e. Future 100 for APAC region (including concept, interviews, research, writing, editing, survey design and analysis)
- People | Work closely with the Wunderman Thompson team and stay connected with external experts for insights that can inform the regional strategy. Support APAC markets with trends and research analysis.
- Clients | Raise awareness of Wunderman Thompson as a thought leader with clients and the public. Present research and insights to clients.
Who you are:
- Someone with 5-7 years of relevant work experience
- Curious | consumer research and insights experience. Passionate about discovering why people so what they do, driving that understanding back to business application. Curious about innovation and societal shifts, connecting these insights to trends and stories.
- Open and collaborative | Our team is close-knit and supportive.
- Research minded | have a keen interest and experience in research, drawing behavioural insights that can help drive growth
- Editorial | journalistic background is preferred. Experience in identifying strategic topics, creating an editorial calendar, publish content and set up goals for measuring success
- Familiarity/experience in the China market with Mandarin proficiency is preferred
