Who we are looking for:

You will provide strategic direction for our client’s engagement with their consumers. This will include the application of technology, processes, people, organizational culture and future state. The digital transformation agenda is your agenda.

You will be a resource with a solid understanding of marketing technology and squarely focused on the delivery of services and solutions, constantly ensuring maximum client ROI.

Expertise should encompass data modelling, database management, marketing analytics technologies, campaign-marketing technologies, reporting and data visualisation.

You will possess at least 7 years of client facing experience working on complex solutions.

You will be responsible for engaging with the client to understand goals, gather business requirements and design, construct and staff measurable programs that ultimately address client objectives. Working with cross-functional teams you will oversee, and actively contribute to delivery of the solution.

What you'll be doing:

  • Along with Management, the Senior Account Director is responsible for profitability of client engagements
  • Support business development ensuring a healthy pipeline for your portfolio (RFI and SOW scoping)
  • Constantly seek opportunities to grow revenue from existing clients through road-mapping, selling new opportunities and renewing deals
  • Compose and execute strategic plans across client base to accomplish business strategy
  • Work closely with the client, ensure stakeholder buy-in and adoption of marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with the client, managing expectations, providing campaign insight and ROI feedback
  • Provide online, strategic and business insights to clients and the rest of the company
  • Build Wunderman Thompson’s Data profile as thought leaders within the market, working with partners to position our services and support the sales effort
  • Maintenance of accurate forecasts for the vertical across client and Business Development.

What you'll need:

  • Tertiary education
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in managing senior stakeholder expectations and deliverables including client facing experience working on complex solutions
  • A solid understanding of marketing technology and must be focused on delivery and solutions, constantly ensuring maximum client ROI.
  • A solid marketing understanding complimented through campaign-marketing technologies, reporting and data visualization, modelling, database management, marketing analytics technologies.
  • Proven experience of growing revenue across your portfolio
  • Knowledge of Marketing Technologies e.g., Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud  
  • Strong business / commercial / marketing acumen
  • Skilled in the formulation and execution of marketing plans – implemented large scale marketing plans inclusive of change management.
  • Good understanding of technology and project implementation
