There are almost 300 of us in Wunderman Thompson Prague, and in the office, you’ll meet both junior and senior colleagues from different parts of the world. We speak Czech and English, but sometimes you’ll also hear Spanish, German, or Italian. Although we are the largest marketing agency in the Czech Republic and a bit of a corporate, an important part of our corporate culture is a friendly and informal atmosphere based on mutual trust and cooperation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the entire HR agenda for 300+ employees
  • The leadership of the 2x HR Business Partners & 1x HR Administrators team
  • Performance management
  • Talent management
  • Education and development strategy and budget management
  • Inclusion and diversity strategy (including collaboration with HR colleagues from other agencies within our group on WPP Campus)
  • Streamlining and innovating HR processes
  • Reporting, analysis for HQ, and communication with HQ

Ongoing projects:

  • Finalizing the migration to a global evaluation and training tool for the entire company. This entails familiarizing employees with the functionalities of the new system and effectively communicating the changes throughout the organization. The preparation is complete, and Business Partners tested it on a few pilot teams in Q1.
  • Continuation of emphasizing mental health awareness and communication.
  • Knowledge Minima vol.II: By the candidate's start date, Phase 1 (for newcomers) will be fully functional, and Phase 2 will be in progress, focusing on existing employees, particularly during promotions or team changes. This exciting project requires collaboration with the CEO, CTO, the Digi Prod team, and others.

New projects:

  • Establishing a Feedback Culture that is currently lacking within the company. This project is already in progress, and we are now preparing, for example, a set of ten guidelines for providing constructive feedback.
  • WPP Campus Education: Collaborating with HR counterparts from GroupM, Ogilvy, and VMLY&R to provide intercompany training free of charge.
  • 2024 Aspiration: Collaborating with CTO and CCD to brainstorm how HR can support these initiatives.

What you'll need? 

  • 📌Excellent knowledge of the English and Czech language.
  • 📌Work experience ten years + in a similar role. Previous work experience in an international company is welcome.
  • 📌Time management skills (ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks and to accomplish them in time).
  • 📌Power to influence people.
  • 📌Ability to work under pressure.
