NOTE: We are seeking candidates local to Toronto. We are open to considering paid relocation to Toronto for strongly qualified candidates based elsewhere in Canada.
What will your day look like?
As our new Digital Designer or Senior Digital Designer, you will work on CRM projects for several global clients, gaining a thorough insight into their businesses. You will create creative content in various forms with tasks that include:
-
Designing and defining visual guidelines and master templates for CRM
-
Advising on design and visual identity of content used in direct marketing channels such as emails, SMS, apps, paid and social media
-
Creating content assets for set templates within existing design guidelines
-
Dazzling everyone with your GIF animations
-
Visualizing strategies and ensuring a cohesive visual experience
-
Sparking an interest and increasing the engagement of more than 100,000 end-users every week.
- NOTE: Some travel will be required on occasion for face-time with clients.
Who are you going to work with?
As a member of the Experience Communications & Design team, you will work closely with communication/content strategists, copywriters, data scientists, tech developers and project managers to brainstorm ideas and create exciting experiences.
You will interact with interesting and kind colleagues in a setting that prioritizes collaboration and camaraderie. We come from diverse backgrounds and have unique skillsets, so you’ll get plenty of opportunities to apply your expertise.
An important part of being an employee of Wunderman Thompson MAP is also to be a culture bearer; someone who enjoys being surrounded by amazing colleagues. While we do have flexibility as needed to allow for working from home, we are building a team that can work on-site (in either Austin, TX or Toronto, Canada) most of your time. This is particularly of value to us in the first 3-6 months of your employment, as we will be flying in team members from MAP in Copenhagen to help establish our first presence in the U.S./North America. This means you will be a vital piece of our new office!
What do you bring to the table?
You are down-to-earth and enjoy fast-paced work environments. You can fit into a tight-knit team, while working independently on multiple projects at the same time – with team feedback and involvement. Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar Design role.
