ROLE: New Business and Client Engagement Director, AUNZ

OVERVIEW:
Gain Theory’s global business is growing, and we are seeking a talented, creative leader to assist in growing the business, working with our clients and becoming part of a strong APAC team for the future. This role is a unique opportunity to land and expand in one of Gain Theory’s newest offices in Sydney and help realize our ambitions.
The successful candidate will have a critical role in sourcing and winning new client engagements and leading existing engagements via development of deep relationships. As part of this, you will ensure delivery of high-quality results and recommendations to our prospective and existing client’s data science, marketing, and insights teams to support and influence their growth aspirations. You will work closely with our APAC CEO and leadership team to define the strategy for Gain Theory’s growth in Australia and our long-term success. Support for operations and delivery will be provided by our global operations team who will support on client delivery via our Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACOE) and Data Centre of Excellence (DCOE).
YOUR IMPACT:
- Develop and implement the company's strategic plan for the AUNZ region, with a focus on sourcing and winning new business as well as expanding existing engagements and speaking at conferences, publishing thought leadership articles, etc.
- Regularly connect with and present to senior stakeholders and executives of prospective clients on new business opportunities as well as existing clients and sister agencies
- Work in an integrated fashion and build strong relationships with prospect and client data science, marketing and insight professionals to make recommendations based on analyses and experience
- Provide on-going analytical support based on statistical models to address a wide variety of client issues including marketing, media and new products strategy
- Manage projects that primarily focus on the impact and/or ROI (return on investment) of client investments, sponsorship contracts, media and marketing activities, promotional, product and pricing strategies as well as other drivers of business growth
- Collaborate with data and modeling teams across Gain Theory
- Create analyses, presentations and reports with appropriate visualizations and flow tailored to the audience (technical and non)
- Manage daily communications with prospects and clients and external partners
- Work on-site with the client, when appropriate. (Currently predominantly virtual)
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction while driving profitable growth
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8-12 years experience in marketing effectiveness, data, technology, advanced analytics and consulting (internal OR client service) is a key requirement
- Proven track record to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders and winning new business is a key requirement
- 3-4 years hand’s on experience with statistical and econometric analysis minimum
- Bachelor’s degree minimum (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or similar field with quantitative understanding)
- Experience in delivering and consulting on insights from advanced analytic techniques, such as multivariate time series regressions (OLS, GLS, etc.), logistic regression, cluster analysis, segmentation, attitudinal/motivational analysis, factor analysis, concept/copy testing, sales forecasting/predictive models, response prediction, Bayesian vs. Frequentist approaches, marketing mix and ROI measurement
- Working knowledge of marketing as a function, media planning and buying
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
- Self-driven and proven track record of working in fast paced environments
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with high levels of emotional intelligence
