Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer (all genders) who will focus on creating user-centered designs for digital products and platforms. Your role will involve ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences by combining user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles. With a deep understanding of markets, business objectives, and enabling technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interactions, create user experience journeys, and develop user interfaces. Your work will be informed by data and research, and optimized through testing. - You have a holistic approach to design, encompassing the user, business objectives, data, and various components of a system.
- You are deeply passionate about delivering experiences that exceed problem-solving, driven by understanding human motivations and needs.
- You are skilled in educating, persuading, and driving projects, inspiring clients and collaborators.
- You have a demonstrated ability to present work to diverse audiences, making complex concepts simple and compelling.
- You are proactive in ongoing learning, research, and self-improvement.
- You have a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- You have experience in a range of projects, from visual campaign concepts to product development.
- You demonstrate strong project management skills, effectively prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and optimizing resource utilization. Your strong organizational abilities ensure a smooth workflow, successful outcomes, and efficient project execution.
- You have an excellent eye for selecting, retouching, and manipulating images, icons, and illustrations.
- You stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design trends.
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer. Digital creative agency experience preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing creative execution of conceptual process and design solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking
- Creative execution in user experience, user interface, and interaction design.
- First experience with conducting workshops.
- Deep understanding of Human-Centered Design principles.
- Implementation of a visual language including typography, color, graphic fundamentals, and iconography for components and documentation.
- Expertise in UX research methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility, inclusivity, and usability.
- Ability to design intuitive wireframes and interfaces for cross-platform devices.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, MIRO, and other design and prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
- Ability to work with agile methodologies using tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
- German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
