The APAC New Business Analyst is a critical role to innovate the use of data analysis for strategic business development, in supporting the delivery of our APAC growth initiatives. Working as a core member of the APAC growth team, you will be responsible for key elements of the WT APAC growth plan, by providing administrative, data analysis and operational support.  

You will acquire and combine data and reports from multiple data sources across markets, teams and platforms, to produce new business analysis and insights that will inform and optimise our growth plan. You will also work closely with broader WT teams at regional level, including our Content, Commerce, Data & Tech and Experience Capability Leads and commercial leads; at a market level, including our market CEOs, key client account leads, and growth and marketing leads; and at a global level, with our APAC marketing and growth teams, global business development team and global Top 30 Client Leads.

 What you’ll do 

  • Analyse Data and Provide New Business Insights 
    • Collect, Manage and Analyse new business and client data from multiple markets and data sources to drive data-driven new business decisions.   
    • Work with markets to ensure regular and accurate reporting of new business wins and pipeline data in Salesforce and other growth and client related platforms.    
    • Manage commercial, growth and marketing performance reports and dashboards to uncover and highlight new insights for business growth decisions.   
    • Support the development of reports and strategic analysis of business processes.  
    • Ensure connectivity and alignment between the APAC growth and finance teams, and consistent reporting to enable greater commercial excellence. 
       
  • Provide Administrative Support & Maintain Best Practice  
    • Identify and implement internal growth & marketing process improvements to automate or optimize manual processes and data delivery.  
    • Build and consolidate toolkits for best-in-class pitch responses, capability engagement, capability knowledge, creds, case studies and marketing initiatives.   
    • Manage the APAC section of our global SharePoint new business database and work with markets to ensure regular updates.  
    • Templatise pitch inputs and outputs to create greater efficiencies and streamline processes.   
    • Support the development of alternative solutions to streamline processes  
  • Provide Day-to-day Operational Support   
    • Work with Growth & Marketing, Client, Capability and Finance teams on their new business-related requests.  
    • Support in coordinating and delivering tasks for regional/global pitches  and key client growth projects.  
    • Support in delivering and tracking of growth marketing initiatives including client prospecting events and workshops.    
    • Support on the planning and delivery of monthly APAC growth community calls.  
    • Support in liaising with market, client and partner stakeholders to identify business needs. 

 What you’ll need 

  • Proven experience in new business, client services, or project management experience in a similar fast-paced agency setting with great communication skills at both written and verbal.   
  • Understand the importance of a mission critical environment and have a creative mind – you can think outside the box!   
  • Confident in presenting insight and making recommendations at C-level, both internally and externally, for decision making and/or strategic planning.   
  • Outstanding attention to detail, possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work on multiple projects at once.  
  • Proven track record in an agency environment, including exposure to clients and ability to lead project teams, ability to perform and manage in changing and fast-paced environment.  
  • Demonstrates ability to identify, prioritize, and manage project information flow. Communicate expectations to client, team members and manage the process from assessment and definition, creative & technical design, production and development, testing and launch.  
  • Ability to present information effectively in informal and formal client settings. Demonstrates proven organizational and planning skills, must be detail oriented, have strong presentation and project management skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and strong facilitation skills.  
  • Strong analytical skills related to working with multiple dataset formats and structures.  
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. 

 Preferred Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, math, economics, or other analytical fields  
  • Working knowledge and portfolio examples of data visualizations developed in online dashboards, preferably Power BI or Tableau  
  • Solid experience in data analysis, reporting, creating data visualization and dashboards   
  • Broad business acumen with the ability to transfer data into insights and translate this into a compelling story  
  • Have strong consumer-centric approach that is able to translate knowledge into insights and recommendations that meet consumer's needs today and in the future.
