Wunderman Thompson Budapest is looking for a Content Management Lead to join our Engineering team. 

The Content Management Lead is a key role responsible for overseeing the creation, organization, and optimization of digital content across various platforms and channels. This position requires a deep understanding of content strategy, authoring and team management, as well as strong communication and analytical skills. The Content Management Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality content that aligns with the company's strategy and goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's objectives
  • Collaborate with the technology/ engineering, marketing and other departments to plan and support project launches and other initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content using relevant metrics and tools
  • Identify trends and insights from data to make data-driven decisions for content improvement
  • Implement best practices to ensure content is search engine-friendly and reaches a wider audience
  • Maintain a content governance framework to ensure all content aligns with legal and regulatory guidelines, including copyright and data protection laws
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the content team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as product managers and subject matter experts, client to gather information and insights for content creation
  • Communicate content strategies, updates, and results to senior management and relevant teams

What we will expect from you: 

  • Strong Digital Asset Management, Web Content Management, Enterprise Content Management knowledge
  • Evaluate and identify appropriate technology frameworks (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering to multiple devices and content engineering services
  • Proven knowledge and experience of SEO, SEM, social, analytics and audience development best practice
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on computer science, technology, eCommerce, analytics, design, marketing or similar field required
  • 6-10 years at an agency or similar, dynamic creative environment
  • Superior English language written and oral communication skills
