Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson is looking for a Bilingual Event Specialist to join our Team Microsoft. We are a global agency of record for Microsoft and drive marketing management for key marketing disciplines. Supporting Microsoft’s Central Marketing Organization in Americas (Canada, USA and Latin America), and working closely with client partners, you will coordinate and execute virtual events, showcase performance, and implement efficiencies.

Candidates must be fluent in French & English.

What you’ll do: 

  • Collaborate | Partner with the Communication & Marketing Organization (CMO) and the Integrated Marketing Managers to build programs to enhance customer experience. Work with the analytics team to showcase event performance.
  • Client | Ensure all events align with client strategy. Obtain event measurement requirements and communicate to event set-up and measurement resources. Become an expert on client platforms and tools.
  • Organize | Track project plans and ensure all stakeholders stay accountable to the approved schedule. Provide operational support for events before, during and after. Validate strategy, marketing goals, measurements, and target audience. Align budgets and timing expectations. Confirm agenda, speakers, and content. Improve the efficiency of event execution. Collect and document insights for future events.

What you’ll need: 

  • 2 to 3 years of event planning experience; in-person and virtual events.
  • English and French fluency required.
  • Experience writing and presenting points of view to support recommendations.
  • Experience in relationship management, cross-group collaboration, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft brand and products an asset.
