Wunderman Thompson Germany is looking for an Senior Art Director – English speaking (all genders) to join our Health team, centered in our Berlin office.

Who we are looking for:  

You need to have solid health/pharma and or tech experience in advertising and communication design, with a portfolio of outstanding work. Art Direction and design are your passions and you are a very strong conceptual thinker who can develop big campaign ideas, and craft compelling art concepts for B2B and B2C audiences. You should be excited to dig deep into each topic and inspire your team members to collaborate with you to create the highest quality designs and award worthy campaign concepts. You will be part of an international team to create world-class communications for some of our health/pharma clients – world-leading brands. Make sure you and the team deliver the highest quality work taking in consideration not only the creative part but make sure all details and timelines in the strategic framework and brief are met to bring the projects to live.

 

What you'll do:

  • Create high-quality campaign concepts, layouts, experience for healthcare, Pharma & tech clients (BtoB)
  • Research, investigate and analyse latest trends for healthcare design projects and the user needs for given activations
  • Deliver outstanding creative ideas fitting the brand guidelines
  • Excellent program (adobe, microsoft, miro, figma is a plus) layout, typography and composition skills
  • Prepare presentations (PPT) and present work in front of clients
  • Guide junior / mid level  art directors and check designs, concepts and give constructive feedback
  • Create, lead and supervise the work of the team within projects inside given timelines
  • Work close with creative directors, copy & concept and account team
  • Enjoy an international and diverse team, interdisciplinary work streams and love digging deep into komplex topics

 

What you'll need: 

  • 5+ years’ of experience – with a strong focus on advertising in health/pharma/medical
  • A balance of art direction/design and conceptual skills – to create big ideas and beautifully crafted visuals
  • The ability to lead projects together with your copy partner
  • The ability to create unique creative ideas and execute them down to the last detail
  • The ability to understand and simply communicate complex technical/scientific information, within strict regulatory guidelines
  • Comfort with and/or an educational background in science
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication, excellent presentation skills and time management
  • Ability to establish an information hierarchy and work self-directed/independently
  • Positive and collaborative energy and creativity that will inspire your team members and clients alike.
