Littlewoods Ireland is a top tier sponsor of the GAA All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship and the title sponsor of the National Camogie League. It activates both sponsorships under the platform ‘Style Meets Substance’. Our aim was to build on the success of the 2019 campaign, driving excitement for the championship while reinforcing Littlewoods Ireland’s sponsorship credentials.

Never before had we waited as long for the Hurling Championship to get underway as we had to in 2020. This elevated anticipation to almost unbearable levels and with this campaign we wanted to reflect the heightened levels of excitement for Championship to begin.
Idea
The campaign celebrates the people behind the game, the fans and their passion for hurling. It follows the energy of the road to Championship and how that journey differs fan to fan, team to team, county to county. It shows what ‘The Championship’ means to people, how we look forward to it and that it’s a part of who we are as Irish people.
